There are a few other things that have been submitted that I’ve looked at or that I’ve been working on but can’t release yet. I’m going to message the submitters and mod creators with a few questions and hopefully get some of this cleared up. I’d also like someone who knows their way around the BTW mod to message me as there are some items on the sheet that I can’t identify or find mention of in the BTW topic.

World of Warcraft – Stormwind City

World_of_Warcraft - Stormwind_City
From the MMORPG World of Warcraft, Stormwind City!
Having taken over 3 months of an average 4.5 hours a day, I can finally unveil this! Nearly every aspect of the city from the game is presented as well as each district. Every district is constructed, Trade, Dwarven, Old Town, Mage Quarter, Cathedral Square, and the Keep.

Capture The Wool

Capture The Wool

This is a variation on Vech’s Race for the Wool. Rather than having lanes, I opted for an open battlefield. The two teams, Red and Blue, must progress through three stages: Preparation, Acquisition, and War.

Preparation: The teams start on small islands, with two resource deposits close by. They must harvest what will be necessary to construct the sky bridges to the other islands, and to conquer said island.

Acquisition: Once the players have what they think is necessary, they can head out to any of the three islands: Forest, Ice Castle, and Volcano. Forest and Ice Castle both have advantages and disadvantage, while Volcano is there just to mess with you.

War: Once the players have footholds on the islands, they can defend their area, preventing the other team from retrieving the wool, whilst also attempting to retrieve the other wool.

The primary appeals of this map are team-based resource management, heavy PvP, and my favorite, the mind game. Players can go anywhere within the confines of the map, aside from above the glass ceiling, and outside of the boundaries of the generated area.

1.8.1 Tale Of Kingdoms v1.0.5

Tale Of Kingdoms

They have come from the nether and they are destructive. They are hard to kill. They use illusions, and maybe leave flames in their path. They have attacked your kingdom and burned your lands. The darkness is coming.

Tale of Kingdoms is a work-in-progress mod for Minecraft (created by TyberAlyx) that sends the player on a great quest for kingship! With countless content added, and much more to come, Tale of Kingdoms gives Minecraft a new breath of life!

Installation Instructions

1. Open up your .minecraft folder. (Click the START menu and in the “search programs and files” search bar, type in %appdata% and press ENTER)
2. If it doesn’t exist already, create a New Folder inside the .minecraft folder and name it: Mods
3. Go into the bin folder and open up your minecraft.jar file with 7-zip or WinRAR.
4. Delete the META-INF folder within the .jar
5. Go to Risugami’s Mods HERE and download and SAVE Modloader. It is REQUIRED to run Tale of Kingdoms.
6. After downloading the Modloader .zip file, open it up with 7-zip or WinRAR and select all the .class files.
7. Now drag ALL files from Modloader into your minecraft.jar file. It will replace a bunch of .class files from the vanilla game. If it asks you to confirm add and replace, press OK.
8. You now have Modloader installed on Minecraft! Huzzah! The hard part is over.
9. Now, on to install Tale of Kingdoms.
10. Download and SAVE the Tale of Kingdoms .zip file from the thread post HERE and copy it from wherever you saved it to the Mods folder in your .minecraft folder. DO NOT UNZIP the Tale of Kingdoms .zip file! Just plunk the .zip in the Mods folder and you’re done!
11. Close the 7-zip or WinRAR window containing your minecraft.jar file.
12. Run Minecraft, and start a new world. Tale of Kingdoms will not do ANYTHING to your old save files. You MUST start a new world.
13. Within 1-5 seconds of being inside your new world, a menu will pop up, asking you to start a new conquest.

If it doesn’t pop up within 10 seconds, Tale of Kingdoms is not running correctly. Either you missed a step in this guide, or you are running a mod that conflicts with it!

1.8.1 Stone Cold

Stone Cold

You wake up in a house, you have no memories that you can think of. You look out the window and see a small town. You also have no memory of this town, you have never seen it before in your life. Although as you look around you see that there is no one. You have no idea what happened to the citizens of this town, but you do know one thing, there is no life in an direction you look. Everything has turned to stone. The ground, the houses and fences, everything… is stone cold.

1.8.1 Working Vending Machines 1.0

Working Vending Machines

This mod was an idea I had a bit ago. When you give the vending machines a certain amount of change they will give you whatever. I have added a money system in turn with this mod, I have also added vending machines that don’t just give you stuff because that’s boring.

Some features of the mod to current date are:
– Coke machine right click with a quarter to get a coke (loonie gets you 4)
– Slime machine right click with loonie and it spawns you a slime 😀
– Suicide booth. When you give it a Loonie it launches you up really high then you die
– A money system containing: Penny-Nickel-Dime-Quarter-Loonie

If anyone cares to post an amazingly awesome thing they’ve built with this texture pack, I would love to be able to showcase it on the front page here. My world is still pretty new so I don’t have any large, impressive buildings.
